Synopsis:

This awe-inspiring and artful documentary observes the passengers of a cable car that ushers pilgrims and tourists—and sometimes goats—up a Nepalese hillside to the beloved Manakamana Temple. Few films generate so much fascination with so austere a set-up. Manakamana is a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience, and well worth the ride.
